At Smarter Fitness, cardio and strength go together like peanut butter and jelly. We have found an effective way to combine cardio and strength so you can maximize both in your workout. Using a heart rate monitor system, we push our clients to fitness levels they didn’t think they could reach. High energy, heat-rate based cardio intervals in combination with explosive high rep lightweight circuit training make these workouts a staple at SFG.

These high intensity cardio workouts focus on reaching and raising the individual’s anaerobic threshold (AT), which is the point at which your energy sources move from using a higher percentage of fat to using a higher percentage of carbohydrates. As you raise your AT, you make your heart more efficient, helping you burn more calories during and after exercise; all while still being able to breathe in enough oxygen to keep burning fat.

  • Tuesday, Thursday: 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
